Parcel 2 is within the areas included in the Sable Offshore Energy Project Environmental Impact Statement and the Deep Panuke Offshore Gas Development Project Comprehensive Study Report. The Environmental Impact for Hazards Survey: Cree, West Sable, North Eagle and Chebucto Sites (CEF Consultants, 2001) partially covers the Parcel 2 area as well.
